The practice group is led by Georg Knafl. We advise and represent both companies and local authorities.

In addition to standard matters of administrative and regulatory law, the team focuses on growth areas such as economic security, foreign trade, and international economic relations. Our expertise ranges from providing legal support to international companies to advising on national security issues and compliance with sanctions regimes.

In the Healthcare + Life Sciences sector, the team works on customized solutions for clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector and advises on all regulatory issues, including market access, distribution, and advertising.

When it comes to cases that overlap with mergers & acquisitions, antitrust law, IP/IT, or data protection, we have the necessary experts to manage the entire process. In the energy sector, particularly in wind power projects, the team works closely with the practice groups for corporate + M&A, financing, and real estate to ensure comprehensive and integrated advice in complex deals.

Additionally, the public law team regularly works with the corporate + M&A team on due diligence and obtaining the necessary approvals or permits. They have extensive experience in a wide range of industries.
