E+H appoints three new partners: Johannes Feilmair, Karoline Hofmann, and Stefan Jeitler

E+H is pleased to announce that Johannes Feilmair, Karoline Hofmann, and Stefan Jeitler have been appointed as new partners as of the beginning of July. With their comprehensive experience and expertise, they complement the existing team and strengthen E+H’s proficiency in various areas of law.

Johannes Feilmair started his career at E+H in 2016 and works in the areas of corporate/M&A, venture capital/private equity, and real estate law. He has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on complex M&A and real estate transactions, as well as infrastructure and energy projects. In real estate law, he focuses on joint ventures in urban development. Johannes Feilmair has special expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and has been representing private equity investors and biotech companies in these areas for many years. Before joining E+H, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and gained further experience at another distinguished Viennese corporate law firm. In addition, Johannes Feilmair is an author and lecturer in the areas of corporate and real estate law.

Karoline Hofmann started her career at E+H in 2013, developing as an associate and counsel in the firm’s Vienna office. She specializes in advising creditors and debtors in crisis situations and restructurings, and advises on distressed M&A transactions. Furthermore, she brings wide-ranging experience in advising on international financing transactions. Where corporate and financing law intersect, she frequently advises domestic and international clients on transactions in the real estate and hotel industry, as well as in the energy sector. As part of her education, she spent a semester in New Zealand and interned at the Austrian Economic Delegation in Muscat (Oman). She completed her law studies at the University of Vienna, gaining practical experience in the legal department of an Austrian bank and in another prestigious Viennese corporate law firm. Karoline Hofmann is a regular speaker and author in the field of financing and restructuring.

Stefan Jeitler started his career at E+H in 2012, working as an associate in the firm’s Vienna and Graz offices through July 2018. He has considerable experience and expertise in corporate and real estate transactions, as well as start-up financing rounds. He focuses primarily on complex and international M&A transactions, and advising start-ups. While working with a venture capital fund in Silicon Valley, Stefan Jeitler was able to gain broad international experience in this area. He studied business law and business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, and completed a postgraduate LL.M. degree at the University of California, Berkeley as one of the best in his class. Stefan Jeitler is admitted to the bar in both Austria and New York and is an author and lecturer in the field of corporate law with a focus on start-ups and venture capital.

With the appointment of Johannes Feilmair, Karoline Hofmann, and Stefan Jeitler as partners, E+H strengthens its position as a leading law firm and expands its advisory capabilities in the areas of venture capital, start-ups, real estate law, M&A transactions, restructurings, and international financing.
